This week’s tarot cards: The Emperor – Six of Wands – Two of Wands

We are now in the first full week of 2020. This year, as with all new years, many of us are setting goals and intentions. We’re making plans to be better than we were last year. The goals we decide to set are personal and based on our individual purpose and joy, but there is one thing they all have in common. We have to take action to reach them.

Now that the holiday season has passed and we are back into our normal routines it is time for us to begin to take the steps necessary to achieve those goals. The Emperor reminds us to take charge of our lives. After some serious strategizing, create a plan and see it through. He may also be a father-figure (or a person who embodies such energy) in your life who is there to impart his wisdom onto you, giving you the information you need to be successful in your endeavors.

The figure on the Two of Wands card (Smith-Rider-Waite deck) holds the world in his palm as he gazes out into the distance. He holds the world in his hand, but there is still so much to explore. The number two is a number of partnership and balance. As you execute your plans this week remember to leave space for family, friends, exercise, or any other areas of your life that are important to you, but not specifically related to your goal. This card may also be encouraging you to form a mutually beneficial partnership with the Emperor in your life. He wants you to succeed and will do what he can to help you.

After putting this plan into action you can ride into town on your horse and bask in the joyous celebration of your team. The Six of Wands is a prelude to the victory you will enjoy in the future, but don’t get too excited yet. There is still work to be done. This week is all about laying the foundation, setting up those systems, and beginning the work that will result in the successful completion of your goal.

Peace & Love,

Crystal
